I’m Dean, a writer. I explore the horror genre from absurdism to dark fantasy. As of now, I am known for my short stories, but I am currently in the process of writing my first novel. I explore themes of gender, identity, and change in my work.

In my personal time, I enjoy roadtripping, painting, and rollerblading. I also write a book review blog. My goal is to try everything once— my favorite hobby is trying out new hobbies. Currently, that means buying and mercilessly killing a series of houseplants.
